A breach of contract occurs when one party (either the employer or employee) fails to fulfill the obligations outlined in the employment agreement. When this happens, one or both parties may want to have the contract enforced and seek damages for the financial harm caused by the breach.
Every employment contract is different. Some terms that employers often place into contracts are void in California and, therefore, cannot be enforced. Our attorneys are adept at consulting on and litigating these issues on behalf of both employers and employees.
