As the Supreme Court completes its first full term under President Trump and nine Justices on the bench, this year has been a blockbuster one for the courts.
Join the Anti-Defamation League and the National Constitution Center for an America’s Town Hall program with distinguished legal scholars Erwin Chemerinsky, Frederick Lawrence, and Dahlia Lithwick as they discuss the most important cases of the term, including Masterpiece Cakeshop about LGBT rights, free speech, and religious liberty, the challenges to President Trump’s “Muslim Ban,” and a major redistricting case. They will also discuss challenges to the President’s executive orders in the lower courts and what to expect at the Supreme Court next year.
This event is presented by the Anti-Defamation League and the National Constitution Center. The event will be streamed live in GED’s office from the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The program is on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
